About us

Metropolitan South West Hockey Association aims to promote, foster, support and encourage children to play Hockey. In September 2013 Hockey NSW directed that certain Associations be reformed to reflect certain minimum requirements. As a result, Macarthur Hockey Association, Campbelltown City Hockey Association & Moorebank Liverpool District Hockey Club were required to be merged as a single identity of Metropolitan South West Hockey Association. The association has six synthetic playing fields located at Millwood Rd, Narellan & Junction Rd, Moorebank NSW.

The Metropolitan South West Hockey Association had 1500+ registered players in season 2017 across 13 clubs from Under 7 (Minkey) through to Masters. In comparison, in season 2010, the association only had around 1000 players across ten clubs. With successful player recruitment programs in place & extensive land development programs within the region, the association is looking to build on the success of the last few seasons and increase our numbers in the coming seasons. We have members from many different areas choosing to play with Metropolitan South West rather than an association closer to home.
